About Lubbe Architects | Cape Town, Noordhoek Architectural Studio
Lubbe Architects is a Cape Town–based architectural and interior design practice specializing in residential and commercial projects across the Western Cape.
Founded by Daniella Lubbe, the practice is built on extensive local and international experience. Daniella has worked for architectural firms in Cape Town for many years and has also practiced in the Netherlands, bringing a broad, global perspective to each project.
LA & Interior Design is a detail-oriented studio that responds carefully to the environment and the specific parameters of each site. We work with both the constraints and opportunities of a project, ensuring that the architecture is deeply rooted in its context.
This approach flows seamlessly into the interior design, allowing spaces to be utilized optimally while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic and clear design intent.
Our design process begins with a thorough understanding of the core challenges and complexities of each project. We consider every element that informs the design, including context, materials, functionality, and creativity.
Through careful exploration and critical thinking, these elements evolve into refined architectural and interior design solutions. We continually challenge conventions, pushing boundaries while defining our own understanding of where the limits of a project truly lie.
We believe that design should extend beyond architecture and interior design alone. The process of developing spaces, products, or elements should be evident at every scale, from the smallest detail to the overall built form. It is the way an object or space is conceived and experienced that gives it meaning and shapes our surroundings.
Our current portfolio includes residential architecture, commercial architecture, and interior design projects.
Lubbe Architects is based in the Southern Peninsula, Cape Town, with projects located throughout South Africa.
Our primary focus areas include the Southern Peninsula and the Southern Suburbs, although we are not limited to these areas.
In addition to our local work, we have experience on projects in Europe and continue to undertake international projects when the opportunity arises.
